Listener is a lamp which is sensitive to music. It changes the luminance slowly according to the volume and pitch as if it understands the melody. The shape of the product comes from a gentle lady listening to music.

I held a stereotype toward technology that it's hard and cold. When I decided to create Listener, I had no knowledge about sensor technology. I invited a friend with electronic engineering background and we experimented together. As a friend who watched the prototype silently for a long time said, ”It is beautiful, like a young lady”, Listener totally changed my attitude towards technology. If there are kindness and stories behind, technology can be warm and gentle as well.
