My Softball Stories
Softball is a game which calls for courage, persistence, confidence, flexibility and accuracy. Most importantly, it's team work and no one wins or loses alone. I started playing softball when I joined Tongji Softball Team in 2011, where I met so many kind and talented people, and which gave me a strong feeling of belonging. I'm lucky and proud that I went to the distance after so many difficulties, because the more than 5 years' softball journey brought me the most beautiful scenery around and inside myself. I have played different positions, including short cut, second base, center field and pitcher. Lots of stories have marked the years and are still brightening me and my team.
Let me tell you some of them.

I joint Tongji Softball Team on 2011. The team was built in 2008 with only few girls. Their passion attracted our coach and it grew bigger and bigger with the effort of many people.

We always play together in the first day of a new year. Running on the grass with friends is the most pure happiness I have after I grew up.

This picture was taken in my birthday party. I was the captain at that time. I love my team, and we are just a family.

hitting is one of the most difficult part in softball because it calls for a strong heart as well as great skills.

The destination of a hitter is the home base. Sending your teammates home is always the greatest honor.

A hug in softball means we win together and lose together

I started to play as a pitcher in 2015. Our team really needed a good pitcher then. I was not the most talented one so I practiced really hard. In 2016, we won the Shanghai Champion back after losing 3 seasons.

I promised to lead the team with my pitching. 2 years after the promise, I made it.

RCS was the team I joint in HK during my half-year's exchange. They are really kind people and I appreciate the experience so much. Softball always brings you true friends.

I joint a baseball team during my master year in Finland. I also tried Finnish Baseball, it was also very interesting

After graduation, I stayed in Shanghai and play baseball and softball in The Oranges. I have great teammates who gave me a lot of support both on field and life. I'm still playing there. I also draw pictures for my lovely teammates.

I worked as commentator during 2022 Chinese Softball League and witnessed great moments of Chinese softball. We received more than 1000000 likes for one 2-hour broadcast. I also played roles of VJ and DJ there.
